Poster: Borders
Graphic Design 2001
I wanted the poster to reflect my fact which was the results of the senate vote on wether or not to let Justice Kavanugh be a Supreme Court Justice. And at the same time inform the viewer on the situation at hand.
The main focus that I wanted in the poster was the vote result, which was 51% to 49% (more of an infographic feeling). And the fact that this slight imbalance could make drastic changes in our Justice system.
Still holding on to the 51% 49% idea I tried to show the destruction of the Supreme Court Building. I first started with the bottom of the building crumbling away, then figuring out how else thing can be destroyed permanently then fire came to mind.
In the end the 51%-49% idea was scrapped, and the fire idea  turned into a bomb. Having the Supreme Court as a bomb shows the intensity and the unknown destruction of our Judicial System in America.
