Hybrotech is a personal protective suit for contaminated air operations to reduce thermal stress. The suit has an integrated ventilator module which can be activated to completely close or open the body to atmospheric air. 

Initial research was done by prototyping and testing the initial idea to increase the open areas on the suit. Thermo-couples on the core body were used to record the temperature changes during low intensity work on a treadmill.

Using the successful testing, ventilator was conceptualized by breaking down the system into smaller units. The product architecture was taken as beginning of exploratory phase where various design elements were designed, 3D printed and tested.
