The brief was to give a new purpose to an old abandoned Heritage Building - The Watson Hotel at the Kala Ghoda precinct in Mumbai; an elitist whites-only hotel in the colonial era. Currently it is in a worse condition than ever, but the only part intact is the symbolic iron cast columns.

I decided to create an exhibition space to actively engage people coming into the art district, and tried to incorporate the adaptive-transformable behaviour of the city into it.
