This project consisted on designing a denture brush for people suffering from arthritis, as well as creating an infographic about dentures and denture care.
For this project, I started off with some research, as I am not very familiar with having arthritis or wearing dentures. The research gave me an insight on how the mobility of arthritic people is affected by the disease, and how this affects their oral hygiene, which might lead to more serious conditions.
I followed by creating a persona based on my previous research, and by reading multiple reviews on Amazon for arthritis-friendly products, which helped me compile different characteristics that users liked and disliked.
What caught my attention was that there were almost no denture brushes designed specifically for people with arthritis, which made me research products such as silverware which have similar handles.
