IS THERE REALLY A DIFFERENCE? ? ? ALBINISM AWARENESS CAMPAIGN
This Awareness Campaign aims to raise awareness and education about Albinism, as people with Albinism have been seen as a stigma in society due to lack of understanding. The social stigmas within our society, which are associated with albinism are difficult to counter and should be approached from human rights as well as the justice perspective. Recently it has been in the media that crimes of humanity are being committed against people living with albinism in Africa which is against the UN Universal Laws.
Albinism is hereditary, meaning a father or mother is a gene carrier for a child to inherit the gene and skip generations while the gene is dormant. However, albinism is found in all species, in plants, animal kingdoms, and humankind. Albinism affects human beings regardless of their race, gender, culture, religion, or nationality.
Albinism is defined as a condition when the human body is unable to produce enough melanin which as a result affects the colonization and pigmentation of the skin which makes people living with the condition of human beings and as a result need to be protected by any lawful governance. It is a disability as it affects the eyes and skin, but with the correct support, it is a manageable condition.
A call to action for people who stand for basic human rights, freedom, dignity, and security of all people regardless of skin. The acknowledgment of the essential existence of dignity, equal and unchallengeable rights of the human race is the backbone in standing for global freedom, justice, and peace in the world.
Failure to acknowledge, disregard, and neglecting for human rights has resulted in horrendous acts which are unsettling for the human conscience in a world where freedom of speech is a virtual from fear and the procurement of aspiration of finding common ground for all people. Misinformation results in discrimination that imposes barriers preventing persons with albinism from reaching their fullest potential as human beings. Nonetheless, with an informed understanding of the condition of albinism, discrimination should end because no one has to know better to do better for the common greater good of humankind.

"This is a setback to the progress achieved since 2014. The UN calls upon all stakeholders to redouble their efforts to implement the National Action Plan, which addresses the root cause of attacks on persons with Albinism, including a nationwide awareness-raising campaign. . .

If these measures are not put in place, we will continue registering violations of the rights of persons with albinism. . .

The intended visual expression isn’t about making use of shop value as in some perspective the awareness campaign involves emotions of pity and in some sense it becomes dehumanizing. As a result, a strong slogan is to be formulated to make a call for action with the use of the primary slogan, primary tagline, and secondary tagline.
The circle used in the visual representation of the 54 recognized African states on the continent in connotation that awareness campaign aims to bring awareness of Albinism to not only Malawi but the rest of Africa as the awareness campaign is intended to spread to the rest of Africa.
The construction of the visual also makes use of human organs in connotation with deep myths, beliefs, and stigmas which has lead to violent discrimination and crimes towards people with Albinism. The icons in the campaign were intended to be settled without the element of shock value as shock value the visuals create a sense of pity and in some sense, it becomes dehumanizing which would not be appropriate for this awareness campaign.

The color choices were taken about skin tones found on the continent of Africa.
PRIMARY TAGLINE: WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE???
The primary tagline calls for the audience to interact with the visuals of the awareness campaign as looking at the visuals without the Tagline make it difficult to make out what the visual mean.
