SUDUT PANDANGAN BERBEZA
Different view of Perspective
Repetition of Samat's Everyday Life is Boring and Depressing
SUDUT PANDANGAN BERBEZA is a story about Samat's repetition same life trying to quit his job. Every day he writes a resignation letter but never had the courage to pass it to his employer. One unlucky day for Samat is when he breaks his routine by waking up late, misses the bus, has to walk to his office and eventually he got fired which actually turns out good for him.

The project is produced as a group assignment during studying in Kolej Kemahiran Tinggi Mara Rembau, Malaysia (Mara Art and Design Excellent Centre). As there were no budget and no fancy facilities or equipment provided by the institute, a lot of experimenting was done while filming the project.
Samat Prepares His Wardrobe a Week Earlier and Tagged His Shirt by Days
The transition scene is inspired by Lindsey Stirling - Minimal Beat music video where a subject is constantly moving in one direction while the background changes to the beat of the music.
This particular scene with Samat manoeuvring the bus is inspired by an award winning short film Rozita binti Roslan directed by Taufiq Kamal for the BMW shorties competition in Malaysia. It is a transition of riding a bus reaching its destination.
Samat Falls into a Deep Trance While Writing His Poetic Letter
The soundtrack for the film is from a Malaysian Post-Hardcore Band, I Revival. The genre fits the film because of anger and vengeance was kept for a long time and the upbeat of the songs keep the tension of the film moving.
THANK YOU!
