This collection of necklaces are delicately embroidered using single strands of thread on calico. The embroidery technique used is commonly referred to as "thread painting" and allows you to achieve a more realistic effect. Painted elements, lace and beading have been used to enhance the composition of some of the pendants.
Featured in this collection are a Cat Skull, a Death's Head Hawkmoth, a Scarlet Tiger Moth, a Crow Skull and a Blue Morpho Butterfly.
