Lead a design research team for a major power tool manufacturer, managing the user research and line direction for seven brands.

Coordinated qualitative and quantitative research utilizing various methods including: internet surveys, one on one interviews, focus groups, disposable camera studies, and video ethnography.

Synthesized field data into reports, power point presentations, and videos to show potential places for innovation as well as to outline form language application for seven different brands

Presented design directions to industrial designers, project managers, and buyers.         

Developed multiple products that were awarded  patents.  

Won Home Depot’s top 10 innovations of the year award for the Ryobi Laser Level (2005).
