My 2013 line for Carnegie Mellon's Annual Fashion show: Lunar Gala. This year I was also the design coordinator intern, which means that I helped produce the show by supporting the other designers and helping to run practice.
My line is inspired by a rust bedspread and lace curtains that I found at Goodwill. My designs came by colorblocking similar shapes onto different parts of the body. For most of the pieces I kept it simple, but I also love repetitive detail: mindless, consistent work with a needle and thread that produces unique texture.
