Editorial Layout (WIRED)

For this project it was required to design an editorial layout for WIRED magazine. We were given the required articles and needed to come up with imagery and creative layout for each article as well as all of the adverts. 

This was a student project that I completed in my third year studying at The Open Window. 

The concept for each layout was to honour the message of each article. Making the typography the main focus. The imagery that I showcased incorporated vector illustrations, photography and illustration that had to do with that specific article. The layout is simple but draw the viewers eye to the article. Each article has its own look and feel but all fit together to give a coherent look and feel. 

WIRED has a specific look and feel and I tried to honour what they do. The adverts were inspired by the adverts that they use in the magazine.
