Hungerism reacts to the UN Sustainable Development Goal to achieve zero global hunger by 2030 - currently a seemingly unattainable goal with current food systems that require resources way beyond the Earth’s capacity to feed 9.8 billion people in 2050.

In reaction, followers of Hungerism change the question from ‘how do we feed everyone equally’, but instead, ‘can we have a global equality of hunger’? How can we adapt our food cultures to use hunger as a tool to escape excess eating and food waste? Hungerism alters the relationship to food and uses props to better experience hunger on a daily basis to ensure no-one faces death from hunger. Instead, hunger is redesigned as a non-threatening experience for all to live sustainably.
Auscultation Order: During the hungerism dinner, one person will be responsible for "auscultation." He/she could be the organizer or waiter.
When everyone seat down, he/she will pick up a stethoscope and place it in the Stomach Belt. Listening to the hungerist’s borborygmus (Rumbling Sound) in details. Recording the acoustic frequency on the Hungrism Menu. According to the frequency of sound waves to match the raw materials of Nutrient.
Matching Nutrient: The Nutrient for the Hungerist includes four main raw materials:
1, Honey;
2, Salt;
3, Leptin (to satisfy hunger);
4, Ghrelin (to promote hunger).
The nutrient will be matched by different frequencies which can satisfy the physiological needs. Adding to the Nutrient Jar for use.
Mouth Plug: Putting on the mouth, embedded in the teeth, and connected to the nutrient jar of the stomach belt through a catheter.
As hunger grow, hungrist begin to drool, snapping up and down. The nutrient was squeezed into the mouth through catheter. Familiar rituals and physical feelings in different context make them both physically and mentally satisfied.
