This project is the imagining of a Young Adult novel titled An Imperfect Jewel. It tells the story of an 18 year old aspiring photographer leaving home and facing the reality of life. After a series of troubling incidents and just pure bad luck, he begins to doubt whether he's capable of reaching the life he had hoped for.
This book cover was inspired by the plot of the music video "Melted" by Akdong Musician (scan the QR code for a direct link). The back cover includes the translated lyrics.
