For the first project in studio lighting, we had light any object using one key light, a studio backdrop or set up, and possibly a light modifier. I chose to use my Canon AE-1 Film camera as my object. My main light was set up high at a 45 degree angle to the table top surface. For my backdrop, I used fabric with a camera print that I had purchased prior at Hobby Lobby.
After a couple shots, I noticed that I needed a reflector to bounce light back into the bottom curve of the camera's lens. I also would need a gobo to block the key light from making my background and the shiny Canon logo too hot or overexposed.
