For my project on 'change' I wanted to look into the history of our given place- Bermondsey as our shoot is based around the old and new and change in perspective. It evolved into an industrial centre in the 18th and 19th centuries, had been the host to Londons first railway, from Spa Road railway station as part of the London to Greenwich line, but was then turned into the underground. In the 20th century Bermondseys riverside was lined with warehouses and wharves, but they were later bombed and suffered severe damage from World War II, they have now been converted into residential and commercial accommodations.
