HAPTI - wooden blocks for kids
This diploma project is a set of six wooden blocks machined tactile elements and pins. One can compose the blocks in many ways to create structures or puzzles. The toy is meant to develop awareness of senses in children, especially through the sense of touch. Blocks are designed to be used by blind and visually impaired children. The project was based on alternative methods of education, such as the Montessori, Waldorf and Froebel techniques.
