Design for Change - Futurecasting

  • Designing change for the distant future requires one to analyze all aspects of the required field. To see how each individual action affects the bigger picture is essential to creating successful designs. I created a hypothetical plan for Adidas to claim a spot in the industry in China. Using two criteria (Global influence and Popularity of Sport), four scenarios were played out, and a business plan was chosen and finalized with a final product to be introduced as the initial step.

    Product Introduction
     
    Based on the white space seen in the above presentation, a product was introduced and developed. This concept is both innovative in concept and flexible in context, allowing Adidas to develop a foothold in its new market in the east. The final design was done in Solidworks and rendered in Keyshot.
