Desk Organizer
Titled the “Make It Real Project”, this was an exercise meant to test ones rapid prototyping abilities. The class was told to draw an idea on a napkin and pin it up on the wall; then we were split up into groups of two and told to select one of the drawings (excluding your own) and make it as realistic as possible. We had less than a few days to prototype, iterate, and develop a final, with a collection to go with it. The final was made with ⅛” acrylic with an interchangeable PLA 3D printed base.
