This is my concept for the flag of Glendale, Arizona. The city colors are teal and copper, so of course I had to implement these colors into my design. In the original flag there is a white background with 3 red pillars, and the name of " Glendale AZ " in teal. One of the major rules of flag making is to not have the city named involve. Additionally   it was said that all bad city flags have a good flag trying to come out. For me this meant removing the name of the city and just leaving the pillars. The pillars represent the three main elements of the city: citizens, business sector, and government. Nevertheless I kept these from their previous design. At end I ended up with a very simple design that represents the three main elements of the city as well as the city colors.

Here is the Glendale flag as it is currently.
