Workshop CAMPOSAZ

The project aims to solve the problem of accessibility to the new botanical park by enhancing the panorama offered by the Dolomiti’s landscape.

The intervention area was occupied by a small building in a state of strong decay that we decide to demolish. The wooden pavilion develops around the foundation of the old building, leaving a central void that becomes a resting area, characterised by a small didactic vegetable garden.
The promenade guarantees access from both the heights of the topography of and allows to enjoy the landscape from different points of view.
The wood path develops on two main levels: the lower level, characterized by the covered exhibition path and the vegetable garden with seats, is connected by a staircase to the upper panoramic walkway.
The laying of the wood emphasizes the verticality in the staircase and the longitudinality in the upper walkway.
