EZ-Glide Kitchen Knife
Kitchen knife for people with arthritis, Parkinson's, or a weakened grip
This is a kitchen knife for people with arthritis, Parkinson's, or a weakened grip. The main problem with a standard knife is the horizontal handle that puts pressure on the wrist, arms & shoulders. When using a standard knife the angle needed to prepare food can be awkward and uncomfortable especially for long periods of time.
EZ-Glide is a kitchen knife that solves these problems and focuses on the user's abilities and pain points. The 8" blade is a fusion between a chef knife and a rocker knife. A vertical grip and a rocking motion allow the user to keep the wrist and arm perpendicular to the shoulder, keeping the grip in a mutual & comfortable position.
