E-gate is an accessory for the bicycles, it makes the connection between the bicycle and the trailer.
This is made of aluminum because of its properties. It is attached to the bicycle by two hex bolts to reduce the probability of being stolen. The attachment of the trailer is via a thumbscrew, which allows the user to easily remove the trailer.
