The club had been wanting to update their appearance and had for a couple of years been trying to instate a new logo, however their attempts had failed. I wanted to neutralise the whole logo (i.e simplify the dancers, add more negative space, remove added colour from the logo). While by no means is it perfect, it has been accepted by the club as a sleeker solution and means that the club can be recognised better through imagery rather than through big, clunky typography. [An image to be added is one of a student ID with our 2018 sticker, and 2019 sticker which is to be redesigned. These would demonstrated that "MDS" or "Monash DanceSport" isn't necessarily needed on the membership stickers to represent the club]
