No Stank! Deodorant Commercial Campaign

Project 1 - Advertising Campaign
The project we were tasked to do is create a multimedia campaign for brand No Stank! Organic Deodorant.
This is the video that I edited and shot. I tried to appeal to the demographic of baby boomers without being condescending. I used extreme close up shots of the face being disgusted as a central point of the campaign. The music stop added to the change of mood and tone. The jingle at the end was meant to be a company wide jingle for them to use for everything. The commercial spot had good timing and pace for the time allotted.
In this video, as a commercial product of deodorant for a demographic of people between the ages 50 and 70 or otherwise known as Baby boomers, I decided to use a simple and natural theme to this video. Also to attract as many viewers as possible I tried to get in as many shots with different personalities of Baby Boomers so that most can relate on a personal level of the difficulties in life as well as the simplicity of No Stank! Deodorant. Some of these techniques being several mid shots and the emotion and use of strange music to get the desired effect of a wrinkled nose because it is not possible to smell the video, if you will.  - Greysa Lemons
My 30 second commercial spot was for the product “No! Stank” deodorant. Our demographic audience is baby boomers ages 50-70. Some of the design choices I made were to put ourselves in the eyes of our demographic. We asked ourselves in what real life situations would this most likely happen.
     Without being disrespectful to our demographic we chose to use a little bit of light humor. My concept was to let our audience know they weren’t alone and it’s totally normal and that our product was a way to fix the problem they had. The music I chose was to give a carefree feel and a sense of happiness.
