Post Processing a Senior Photo Session

Color Change: Clothing
Sometimes outfit colors just don’t work together. Combine this with questionable weather and there just isn’t enough time to change clothes and get all the shots. Fortunately, when clients choose clothing without logos on them color changes can be done in post-processing.
The Color Change
In post-processing I selected the boy’s shirt and pants and changed their colors to better compliment the girl’s clothing colors. The blue and gray not only complimented her colors, but also fit his style as well as the colors in the scene.

Black & White: A Classic Feel
At the client’s request I also converted the photo to black and white. The black and white provided nice contrast and helped to provide a little more clarity on the weather - cloudy with storms on the horizon.

This was a fun photo session with an amazing brother and sister. While in wished the weather would’ve cooperated a little more we managed to create some awesome photos.
