Description

A Mother and Daughter, previously residing in the United States, had been separated due to change in immigration policies. The daughter, a child at the time, was taken from her home while the mother was at work and brought to an immigrant children’s camp. The mother was later found and deported. After weeks of waiting the daughter was handed over to her aunt and uncle who legally reside in the United States. Years later the mother and daughter meet at the U.S/Mexico border after having little contact prior to the incident, in efforts to rebuild the relationship that was striped from them.
