Following the trench warfare in the poppy fields of Flanders during World War 1, poppies have become a symbol of remembrance of soldiers who have died during wartime. Below is a triad of poppy illustrations, each with it's own emotion, symbolism and meaning which will be identified differently to each individual who interacts with the triad.
