Voracious Tasting and Food Awards

DESCRIPTION:

The Voracious Tasting and Food Awards was an event put on by the Seattle Weekly that invited over 40 Seattle based eateries to The Paramount Theater.  I was tasked with creating the logo, branding, and marketing materials for the event. I really loved these old photos I found on the Creative Commons that captured the pure enjoyment of eating, so I used those as the anchor for all the ads. Each one took on it's own life when myself and various folks in the office added silly, but appropriate commentary and the rest fell into place from there I loved doing this and the event was a huge success to boot, selling out within days of it's announcement.
