Quella del cavallo antropomorfo è l'immagine di un animale che, per antonomasia, è simbolo di libertà, e che paradossalmente si trova racchiuso in quelle convenzioni sociali, come i vestiti, le automobili e i grattacieli, che rappresentano la morte, pratica ed ideale, della natura.
Il soggetto ne è la resistenza.
That of the anthropomorphic horse is the image of an animal that, par excellence, is a symbol of freedom, and which paradoxically is enclosed in those social conventions, such as clothes, cars and skyscrapers, which represent the death of nature.

Non è che un essere umano malato di consapevolezza; quel “Portatore di Indole” che si tiene stretta la sua natura, quel superstite della sensibilità.
It's a human being sick with awareness; a "Bearer of Nature" that holds its origins, a survivor of sensitivity.
Ebbene, la mia non è altro che una delle tante possibili visioni della realtà e della sua artificiale e capitalistica complessità, in contrasto con le semplici e naturali pulsioni animali. Un contrasto che porta al disagio, alla malinconia, allo Spleen Baudelairiano di tutti i Sensibili, all’isolamento e all’incapacità di adattarsi.
Well, mine is just one of the many possible visions of reality and its artificial and capitalistic complexity, in contrast to the simple and natural animal drives. A contrast that leads to discomfort, to melancholy, to the Baudelairian Spleen of all the Sensibles, to the isolation and the incapacity to adapt.
Il Portatore di Indole vorrebbe assorbire ogni cosa, vorrebbe dar sfogo ai suoi sensi, svilupparne di nuovi e perdersi in essi. Vorrebbe vedere il colore di un odore e sentire un gusto sulle dita.
The Bearer of Nature would like to absorb everything, would like to give vent to his senses, develop new ones and get lost in them. He would like to see the color of an odor and feel a taste on his fingers.
Egli sarà sempre diverso, alienato, e giudicherà sempre le cose da un punto di vista differente, quello della sensibilità, che consente di assorbire il cinismo che è in ogni cosa che lo circonda, e che lo condanna ad un perpetuo senso di disadattamento.
He will always be different, alienated, and will always judge things from a different point of view: sensitivity, which makes him absorb the cynicism that is in everything that surrounds him, and that condemns him to a perpetual sense of awkwardness.
Ispirata dagli ansiogeni e frenetici esistenzialismi di David Lynch, connessi alla figura dell’animale antropomorfo in Rabbits, uno dei suoi lavori più famosi, e da BoJack Horseman, cavallo senza speranza protagonista di una serie animata statunitense firmata Netflix, ho deciso di procedere per contesti quotidiani, emblema dell'attuale anormale normalità.
Inspired by Lynch's anxiogenic and frantic existentialisms, connected to the figure of the anthropomorphic animal in Rabbits, one of his most famous works, and by BoJack Horseman, hopeless horse protagonist of an American animated series signed Netflix, I decided to proceed with habitual contexts, emblem of the current abnormal normality.
