Currently based in Ormond Beach, Florida, Howard Perch grew up in New York. He was born on Long Island but grew up in Port Washington, where he later graduated from Flagler Palm Coast High School. He was an all-state baseball player and an all-area special teams football player as well. He went on to specialize in healthcare, serving in hospital administration and in many executive roles, and he is still a passionate proponent of regular exercise. He received his certificate in lean healthcare principles from Belmont University.
