Saviskara Exhibition & Design Forum was organised by the Staff and the students at Raffles Design Institute Colombo. They initiated the idea to hold an external exhibition where students can showcase their work to the design industry and public. This was a much needed break away from the quarterly lobby single evening exhibitions for each department; as they did not unify the creative talent and energy of the school as one, nor did they attract the design industry's attention.
