My first trip to Lake Neangar and Lake Tom Thumb. Both lakes are man-made lakes in the middle of an urban area.

Weather was perfect  - windblown, drizzling rain and a single figure temperature.

I have to say that the weather sealing on the Pentax K-1 and the Pentax 560mm lens works; they were both dripping water when I returned to the car.

The birdlife was a surprise, although the lorikeets and cockatoos were in the upper canopy of the trees and difficult to spot, so no photographs.
