A study about "Gambiarra"
"Gambiarra" are spontaneous solutions for everyday situations, using the resources available. It is also related to the ability to understand potential new uses of objects and associate it with unexpected context.
This project is a concept of possible new utilisations for cable ties; it brings the daily improvisation of Brazilian’s chaotic culture into the structured German context.

The project aims to present a new mindset, enhancing the value of popular knowledge: It expects to open people’s awareness to industry products, so to develop their creative confidence and the ability to see beyond the functions given by technical and industrial standards.
