Vial. An industrial and science fiction inspired desktop lamp filled with mineral oil. For this project, I tried to develop a material combination and process, combining oil and concentric cylinders to create sort of varied liquid lens, distorting the image of the bulb and cylinders. As oil refracts light differently than water, those cylinders filled with oil create optical illusion and I tried to use this scientific principle to add arcane ambience.
