Carema is a small italian village at the feet of the western Alps.
Its steep hills made of mafic metamorphic rock are the birthplace of one of the best exemples of mountain wine. The Carema Nebbiolo is the epitome of the complexities of the region and the society that produce it: the harshness of the soil and the passion required to overcome its trials; the adherence to tradition both as a cultural value and as a necessity imposed by the territory; the centrifugal force from a vineyard that asks a lot from the work of Carema men and women and gives so little back, the interests revolving a product of exquisite quality for which the demand is much higher than the supply.
