A lot of rising issues result from making assumptions without acknowledging different perspectives. The problem was that people don’t always or refuse to recognize that there is more beyond the stereotype. The Reflection Journal provides a time of self-reflection to honestly write down individual perspectives and experiences. Reading through other people’s entries gives an outward experience into another person’s life and how they recognize the problem. Exchanging of the journal can stir up unique conversations. This project can grow with more books with their own themes such as racial, cultural, and religious stereotypes.
