Green Hill

The area set on the crossroads of the main pedestrian paths, in the central part of residential complex Block 45, was recognized as a place that has potential for further urban development of the settlement. The whole residential block lies on a flat terrain, so for its inhabitants, a hill rich in green is a special place and trademark of this area. This now passive green surface, without function, provides the possibility of creating a useful and attractive space for different activities of the people living around it.
The project proposes upgrading the hill without disturbing its existing contour. Nature is put to the forefront, it dictates the look and organization of the building. The new space is designed as a synthesis of interior and exterior surfaces. The interior of the building is functionally flexible, and can be used in various ways (like a gallery, an educational center, a children's playroom ...), and in the outer space users can smoothly move between the hill and the building.
