Beginning from about 00’s rap music has become an important part of my life. We were dancing, rapping texts of our favorite artists, and soon we started writing our own texts. And it was always emotions… different at different times…emotions -that's what I especially appreciate in life!
Smoky Mo and Kanye West became innovators in their time. One of them in Russia, another one in the whole world of hip hop industry. They changed this genre for ever, given a part of themselves.
This work was made as a gift to my friend @muzika_mi for whom these two artists have always been in priority. That's why I wanted to write one of the Smoky’s quotes, and spicing it with something from Kanye. Nowadays mr.West has a very strong influence on the fashion world and during the work, I was inspired by Yeezy sneakers.
As for the calligraphy itself I can't not to say about @pokraslampas, his role in the development of modern calligraphy is hard to overrate. I want to say that idea with Yeezy was not stolen, because I drew it more than two years ago, and I just was surprised when I saw artwork with Kanye's sneakers from Senya. This indicates that’s our points of view have crossed. But he is not the only one: @Retna, @oscarconspiracy, @saidokins, @heliobray, @alexshimanov, @odintri__ and many many other talented people.

Рэп музыка примерно с 2000 года стала неотъемлемой частью моей жизни, тогда мы танцевали под нее и наизусть перечитывали куплеты исполнителей, потом читали рэп сами... Это всегда были эмоции...разные эмоции в разные периоды...а именно эмоции я очень ценю в жизни! Смоки Мо и Кайни Вест в свое время стали новаторами, один в рэпе русском, другой в мировой хип-хоп индустрии вообще и навсегда изменили этот жанр, привнеся в него что-то свое. Я расписывал это полотно в подарок своему другу @muzika_mi а эти исполнители всегда у него были в фаворе, поэтому мне хотелось написать одну из цитат Смоки приправив все это чем-то от Кайни, ведь он кроме всего прочего еще и здорово влияет сейчас на моду...поэтому при написании я вдохновлялся его кроссовками Yezzy.

Что касается самой калиграфии, то тут не возможно не упомянуть @pokraslampas, его роль в становлении современной каллиграфии очень трудно переоценить! Тут сразу хочу сказать, что идея с Yezzy не была мною нагло слизана, ведь полотну более двух лет, и я скорее был приятно удивлен, увидев работы Сени с этими кросовками, что наши векторы вдохновения совпали, а выложить свои фото я смог только сейчас. Но вдохновляет не он один, есть @Retna, @oscarconspiracy, @saidokins, @heliobray, @alexshimanov, @odintri__ и еще очень много талантливых людей.
