Shoes are complicated mixtures of diverse materials, making shoe trash a big problem for our environment. There are a lot of eco-friendly materials for waterproof footwear products. However, they are often combined with other materials that should be disposed of in a different way, which costs a lot to take apart.
The design is a pair of shoes assembled by 3 parts, each made with one material unit. It allows users to separate different parts easily. It's a dynamic shoe model, which can be further developed with more functional parts and better shoe material in the future. Users can renew the parts without changing the whole shoes. It's designed for material recovery but it will also prolong the life of footwear products and reduce the waste from fashion updating.
