Since 2007 I have explored building sets and photographing model soldiers. I started on a small scale. The soldiers were an inch to an inch-and-one-half. Now they are twelve inches and have movable parts and accessories to simulate a more real environment. The kitchen is the last set I built in 2012. Compared this to the photograph taken through the fence(the first photograph listed below) as being one of the first photographs I did in 2007.The amount of detail starts to protrude from the background, also the scale is bigger, and finally the soldiers extremities can move insted a cast soldier. All of these factors create the play on what is real and not. This is an on-going project that will probably never-end just one that will get more intricate and complex.
