'Enchanted Sleep'
Sleeping Beauty in her cursed sleep.
Character Design.
I wanted to include symbols of night and sleep so I used feathers in her hair and the moon phases in her jewellery. I decided to include the thorns that surround her kingdom in the fairytale to create more of a physical representation of the curse.
Painting Process.
I wanted to use a sunset inspired palette as another symbol of sleep and death.
