大同大學工業設計學系第42屆畢業作品展

或然率是針對大同工設畢業展覽的識別設計專案。期望透過平面設計闡述不同於大眾的觀點，並以理性與感性的視覺元素觸動觀賞者。

Probability is an event visual identity design project and storytelling for TTUID on Yodex Taipei 2018. The view is to expound our opinion of design through graphics, which touch people in both emotional and rational methods.

或然率又稱為機率或概率，是事件的基本結構。我們都必須面對未知事物的碰撞並做出選擇，產品設計之流程亦然。然而身為設計師，理解選擇遠比進行選擇重要，一旦我們達到對任務的全然理解，選擇也將不復存在。

啟發自水波相互碰撞的不確定性，我們以其為形象將抽象概念的「或然率」視覺具象化，同時使用象徵熱情感性與智慧理性的紅藍兩色作為視覺延伸基礎，呼應設計流程中的心態碰撞。

Probability is the fundamental structure of incidents. We all have to confront the unknown from colliding of things and make our choices, so does the design process. However, as designers, to understand choices is way more important than making the choices, once we reach the omniscience on tasks, the choices will be no longer exist.

Inspired by the uncertainty of water waves colliding with one another, we visualized the abstract concept of “probability” with its image. Meanwhile using the red and blue colors that symbolize enthusiasm and wisdom as basic elements of visual identity design, respond to the mentality collision in the design process.
