The METRO Oakley Transit Center is located on the former site of Milacron, which was one of the largest machine tool manufacturers in the country. The site, which has been newly developed, is now a center for business. The transit hub was designed to stand out amongst the big box architecture in the area and provide historical context for what had once stood on the site.
