Break Dance is an urban dance style that is part of the HIP HOP culture movement that emerged in African-American communities in neighborhoods such as the Bronxs or Brooklyn of New York in the early 1960s. It is possibly the best-known dance style within of Hip Hop. The Breakdance is part of the so-called four Hip Hop elements, the others being the Mcing (or rapping), the D Jing (or turntablism) and the Graffiti.
