TOPIC :THE POWER OF THE SPOKEN WORD.

BOOK: THOUGHTS OF TREASURE DAILY DEVOTIONAL.

For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.(Mark 11:23).

Jesus never lied to anybody. His words are absolute reality and He meant every word that ever came out of His mouth. He said in our opening scripture, that whosoever, that is anyone. If anyone says to this mountain, the mountain here could be anything that's standing before you, anything that is standing before your success, it refers to any obstacle, limitations or anything that seems so big or immovable before you. Jesus said, I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, ' be lifted up and thrown into the sea,' and it will happen. If you say to the mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and do not doubt in your heart but believe that what you say will happen, it will be done for you. Glory to God. What an authority, what a privilege, what an honor to know that I could speak to anything and expect an answer. If the circumstances of your life does not appeal to you, you can change it. How? By your words.

If you do not like the way your life is going, Jesus has stated it clearly, you can change it. With your words, you can change anything. With your mouth you can change anything. Your mouth has a spiritual function, it has a spiritual purpose.The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.(Proverbs 18:21). Hallelujah. Your mouth was not made just for food and drinking. It has the power of life and death in it. You can use your mouth to detect the direction and course of your future. Where your mouth goes, your life goes. Your life cannot be different from the character of your words. If your words are confusing, your life is confusing. Your words are the revelation and the reflection of your life. Your life is the character of your words. If your words are excellent, your life will be good and excellent. If your words are full of negativism, your life will go in that direction. If your words are full of complaints and murmoring, your life will go in that direction. Your words are what puts you over and sets you free in the realm of the spirit. Jesus said in Matthew 12:37 "For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned." Hallelujah.

The moment you understand the power of your words and begin to use it rightly, your life will take on a new meaning and things will change for you. Jesus said you shall have what you say. Hallelujah and in Proverbs 18:20 it says that "From the fruit of their mouth a person's stomach is filled; with the harvest of their lips they are satisfied. Did you see that? All the things you will ever require in life are all inside you and you can bring them into manifestation with your words. If only you knew that your mouth had the power to bring to you that which you desired, if only You knew that your mouth had the power to bring you blessings and promotion, if you only You knew that your mouth had the power to set your life on fire, the Bible says in James 3:5 "...that In the same way, the tongue is a small thing that makes grand speeches. But a tiny spark can set a great forest on fire.And the tongue is a flame of fire. It is a whole world of wickedness, corrupting your entire body. It can set your whole life on fire, for it is set on fire by hell itself." Hallelujah. Your tongue has the power of good and evil within it and it has the power of death and life within it and the Bible says in Proverbs 18:21 that those who love it will eat its fruit. In other words, those that know how to use it, will eat the good and beautiful fruits or blessings thereof.

Finally, the Bible says in 1 Corinthians 2:14 that the natural person does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned. So if you are not yet born again, you need to be born again so the Spirit of God will grant you spiritual understanding. 7 THOUGHTS TO PONDER ON.

1. YOU CAN SPEAK TO ANYTHING AND IT WILL OBEY YOU. (Mark 11:23).

2. IF YOU HAVE THE GOD KIND OF FAITH, YOU CAN DO ANYTHING. (Mark 11:22-23).

3. IF THE CIRCUMSTANCES OF YOUR LIFE DOES NOT FAVOR YOU OR YOU DO NOT LIKE IT, YOU CAN CHANGE IT WITH YOUR WORDS. (Mark 11 23, Proverbs 18:21).

4. YOUR MOUTH HAS A SPIRITUAL FUNCTION. YOU CAN USE YOUR MOUTH TO CHART THE COURSE OF YOUR LIFE. IT HAS THE POWER FOR GOOD AND EVIL.(James 3:5-6).

5. WHAT PUTS YOU OVER IN THE REALM OF THE SPIRIT IS YOUR WORDS. BY YOUR WORDS YOU WILL BE JUSTIFIED. (Matthew 12:37).

6. YOU CAN USE YOUR WORDS TO BRING ONLY BLESSINGS INTO YOUR LIFE AND HAVE MORE THAN ENOUGH FOOD IN YOUR TABLE.(Proverbs 18:20, Proverbs 12:14).

7. WHAT YOU SAY IS WHAT YOU WILL HAVE AND YOUR LIFE GOES IN THE DIRECTION OF YOUR WORDS. YOUR LIFE IS THE CHARACTER OF YOUR WORDS. IF YOUR WORDS ARE CONFUSING, YOUR LIFE IS CONFUSING. (Mark 11:23, Proverbs 18:20-21, Matthew 12:37).

AFFIRMATION.

My life is working and I am making progress every day by the power of God's Spirit. Everything I set my heart to do prospers and I have lasting prosperity. There's nothing on earth that can stop me. I am unstoppable and no weapon fashioned against me shall prosper. There's no divination against me. I am a success at every count and I am walking in blessings, I am working in divine favor, I am walking in power and in glory in Jesus Name. Amen.
