  • This skull is composed of nine red and white peony flowers. Peony is highly treasured and said to be the king of all flowers. The red and white symbolize wisdom and compassion and the components from the father's white essence and mother's red essence that make up the body according to Tantric texts. "Nine Flowers" refers to a particular protocol in Classical Chinese Medicine used for spiritual cultivation and transformation.
