The inspiration for the particular drawing series came from music and my own thoughts. The series consists of six individual drawings, each one representing my own vision of chosen lyrics from the songs. The fact how sometimes we can identify with the music we are listening to is something really interesting to me. That a story behind the lyrics stays unrevealed, but the way it makes us feel is something many can connect to. I guess it is magical in a way. With this series I wasn't trying to illustrate the songs, I was trying to interpret some of my thoughts combining them with music, thus create a different viewpoint and unity between the two. Moreover, I was curious about the way I should depict thoughts, because they are something abstract, something only ourselves can sometimes understand. The combination of black and white elements and delicate ink drawing seemed like a proper way to do it. The drawings were made in 2017 and the beginning of 2018.
