PLAY PLAY PLAY
Nowadays children play more and more with electronic devices, isolating themselves from the world around them. They stop knowing how to play and interact with surrounding objects, which may compromise their creativity, autonomy and their psychomotor development. To fight the vicious cycle, I designed a game that aims to encourage children to explore the world.
Anything around a child can be a toy, as long as his or her imagination can run free.
“Play Play Play” is a game which aims to promote contact with the surrounding environment while developing the child’s creativity and imagination. It’s aimed at children from four to seven years old and encourages the creative use of everyday objects in the creation of new universes. The game is composed of two sets of cards: themes (an idea for the story to create) and materials (to help the construction of this brave new world). The goal is for the child to take a card from each group and give wings to their imagination.
