This is the beginning sketch for the background story of the Tin Man from the OZ stories. This was drawn for the 2017 Miami SCBWI January conference that unfortunately I was not able to attend. I have an entire story outline written storyboards and character design started and this was the initial sketch for a 2 page spread for the story. I am revisiting this project as I really enjoyed creating this drawing and it really needs to be completed. Been away for awhile due to a death in the family. I am finally back into the creative process and it feels good to be back to what I love drawing and story creation. .
