The following is a college assignment wherein we had to design our own stencil typeface. I started with the rough iteration below. The concept was to keep it as simple as possible using just straight lines and minimum curves which would allow for repetition.

Following this, I worked on finalising and improving the concept in order to make the typeface more legible and make the letters in such a way that they belong to the same family. Some of the letters were a little bit more difficult to work on like the 'v', 'x' and 'z'.

After finalising the typeface on paper, I traced it on illustrator and then took that to Glyphs where I did the spacing for the typeface. In the end I came up with the following stencil typeface.

The following is a poster I worked on for the created stencil typeface. According to me, the typeface could be used as a headline for sports articles in magazines or newspapers.
