Kitchen Design Challenge: 

Intensive Design Challenge exploring the usage of a particular type of kitchen ingredient and how it is currently prepared. This design looked at dried vegetables such as lentils, rice and beans and how they could be prepared with more ease and convenience. The final design took inspiration from timed kettles, rice cooking cycles and included a lid-mounted stirring rod to keep the steam and heat inside the unit. 

Initial Concept Work looked at how people store dried produce and how they could be measured and prepared on an automated basis. 

Rough App Design for automated dried produce cooker using quick prototypes and Illustrator to get an idea of what pages and information is required.
